UPDATE: Allegheny Creative Writing Senior Project Reading at Voodoo Brewery 4/18

Allegheny seniors who have completed senior projects in creative writing this year will read from their work at 7 p.m. on Thursday, April 18 upstairs at Voodoo Brewery on Arch St. The entire campus community is welcome to join this celebration of undergraduate writing.
Uploading Senior Projects to DSpace

There is an issue loading projects into DSpace using the directions posted at https://sites.allegheny.edu/library/library-services/seniorprojectsubmissions/. There is another way to load projects using MyDSpace. Please see the handout at https://drive.google.com/file/d/12zD6dDYjIKTrlRt3qp3XRxxP77lU5Dsa/view for information. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to email dspace-help@allegheny.edu. We will update MyAllegheny when the issue has been resolved.

Each year, thousands of vehicle crashes occur because drivers are distracted by cell phone conversations, emails, text messages, and social media. In an effort to draw attention to this epidemic, April is nationally recognized as Distracted Driving Awareness Month.

Electroacoustic Music Demo 4/18

Are you interested in combining music and computers? Do you like surround sound? You are invited to the live electroacoustic music demo happening at the Vukovich Theatre on Thursday, April 18 from 7-8 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.
Students, if you like what you hear, look out for the new music technology course in self-service! Music 175 is an introduction to fundamental music tools and techniques used for electronic and electroacoustic music performance, recording, sound manipulations, and sound generation. Spaces for Fall 2024 are still available, Tu/Th from 11-12:15 pm
Social Justice Passover Seder! 4/19

We will eat symbolic foods and a festive meal as we celebrate the liberation of the ancient Israelites. FIJI- American Red Cross Tabling In CC 4/17

FIJI, will be hosting an American Red Cross Blood Drive this Wednesday, April 17, from 11 am to 4 pm in Schultz Banquet Hall. We will be tabling in the Campus Center on Monday and Tuesday from 11 am-2 pm if you wish to sign up. Walk-ins are welcome. Please consider donating, as it helps many people in need.
